WHAT ARE CALL CARDS? Your Comm Center will have a program that leads the call taker through a series of questions on any call type. These programs are purchased from APCO, Priority Dispatch or other vendors. We are providing our entry level learners version for your students. Here is a brief video to explain the second screen.
Zero Internet Dependency
BASIC model is computer to computer connection, no internet is needed. The 9-1-1 Reality Simulator software is customized, configured and thoroughly tested prior to delivery. Imagine the Windows and Network settings needed to allow the complex system of multiple phone lines, multiple radio channels, recording studio, sound effects, text to 9-1-1 and the list goes on. We also use the latest state of the art equipment with the exact requirements we need.
Comprehensive Training Features
The second monitor offer police, fire and EMS CALL GUIDES. When the student selects a call type they are led through a process of asking questions to determine a response or further care of the caller. This basic EMD training prepares your student for real world call taking protocols used by Priority Dispatch, APCO or any other product used by Comm Centers.
Customization at Your Command
Prior to delivery, we work together to determine the city or towns for your addressing (ALI), your call types, responses and more. You can work with your local Comm Center to determine what would be best for your unique setting.
Real-World Simulations
With multiple phone lines, primary and tactical radio channels, ring-down and text lines, your students will experience what it is like to work at 9-1-1! You have 50 scripts of non-emergency calls to jump-start your training. All calls can be recorded, and transcripts of your CAD (computer-aided dispatch) narrative. Grads will have a 9-1-1 Portfolio to demonstrate their learning and ability.
